We have borrowed this Roomster within the action "Roomster for 2 days to your firm", which can take part in every entrepreneur or firm. There are several engine versions offered, we have chosen just this least powerful diesel, which is probably the subject of the worst criticism. We thus wanted to find out, if it is fair. It is necessary to order the car by the Škoda Auto infor line, which arranges the loan out by the nearest authorised dealer. We have borrowed the car in Brno, where they had the requested engine version immediately.

This Škoda is available on the market about a year and a half and is the new design line first representative. From it in fact copies new Fabia and according to spy photos, which leaked to the press, many design elements, mainly the front part, is going to overtake also the prepared new Superb. But Roomster is controversial mainly for the look as composed of two cars. But in fact the designers intented it and express it in the commercials. They concened to divide the car into two differently framed spaces. The front space is for the driver and co-driver and corresponds to the conventional car, however the back part should be the paradise for the passengers and the cargo. The paradise for the passangers is meant by the extraordinary longitudinal and height space, which can be compared probably only to the most luxury limousines of the highest class, the paradise for the cargo is meant by the great variability of the back part of the car. The design on the whole is original, but difficult to get used to for many. We like it, but it is really the question of opinion. We see the positive in the fact, that the car can engross for the first sight, which is from the commercial and propagation point of view really wanted for any company car. In this discipline Roomster really excels compared to the boring conventional vans and pickups.
