LED lamp with generator: for ever
The problem of classical battery lamps is one basic. When they are really needed, you often find out, that the batteries are flat. Moreover you mostly need lamp on the place, where no power source is available, so rechargeable batteries don't solve the problem too. But there are appliances emerging the market, which are equipped with their own generator. From the simple comically looking toys the development has made long journey and so we can offer you something, that is small, nice, practical, ecological and powerful.

Time to time a commercial can be seen on the TV, that shows something looking like a miracle. The moderator shakes with something for a while and then is happy, that it produces light. In fact he demonstrates the Faraday induction law, which is used by all electric energy generators. But the appliance looks also rather as physical demonstration than something usable.

But there are appliances already at least two generations farther on the market. They are equipped with real NiMH accu, which can stay charged for at least several weeks, so you don't have to charge it before every use. Also the charging process is simple. Thanks to a generator with a flywheel only a few presses of the charging lever are needed to have light for several hours. And really good light, thanks to three high performance LEDs.

The appliance is produced in matte, however still clear casing, so you can see all important parts through it. Also the dimensions 10.5 cm in length, 5 cm in the widest place and 2.5 cm thickness mean, that it can be compared to ordinary LED lamps powered by classical AA cells. So it can fit into pocket, purse or anywhere you want and you can carry it with you any time for any situation.

In the front part, there is a window with three LEDs. They shine always together and offer enough light even for reading. Also they have no problem to shine the way, their range is at least ten meters.

There are three controls and a tag on the sides. There are two scroll bars and the charging lever, which is hidden in the unused state. After shifting the lower scroll bar the lever unlocks and appears to the side, so it has about 2 cm in the widest place. There is a powerful flywheel connected to it, which starts to turn by every press of the lever and powers the builtin generator. Thanks to it the charging is very simple and pleasant. After charging you only need to press the lever and lock it with the scroll bar.

The lamp is switched on by the upper scroll bar, which is a classical switch between on and off. You can shine also when charging, so you don't have to wait until charged and so it is available almost immediately.

Also the endurance is imposing. After about one minute charging, it could shine about three hours, without reducing the shine. After that time the light started to fade off, but it was still usable. So it can be expected, that after longer charging it can last much longer.

In the end we can say, that it has overcome our expectations much. It offers really that what it promises. Practically inexhaustible light source wherever and whenever you need it. That is why we have put it to our shop with practical tools for travellers inMotio, where you can buy it.
