Barcelona - The Mobile World Congress 2008
One of the most important actions in the mobile communication area is The Mobile World Congress. Year 2008 was held in Barcelona and it is really a worldspan action, which is judged also by the long list of lecturers during only four days.

The congress programme is composed mainly of discussion about the current mobile communication problems and all related. The branch leading companies introduce here often their news. However, in recent years it is true, that only few of them are really unknown, because they could be hidden in the amount of the others. That is why the manufacturers introduce their products rather long in advance.

To the congress also belongs the every year announcement of the winners of the Global Mobile Awards 2008. The awards are given in sixteen categories and their full list and current winners can be found on the official pages, see the link below.
