Original modularity with the innovative ‘Multi-Flex’ bench seat
A real innovation in the segment, the Multi-Flex
bench seat offers an innovative level of modularity.
Its multiple confi gurations maximise the load space
and also make the interior of the new Partner even
more practical. Its functions are as follows:
• Retractable, therefore obtaining a continuous
fl at fl oor within the load space
The load space length can be increased by
folding the seat, due to the seats intelligent and
cleverly designed folding mechanism. This makes
it possible to transport loads of up to 3 metres
in length on a "fl at base", or even 3.25 metres in
the extended version of the Partner. A fi rst in this
market segment, this innovation is made possible
by the use of all the available space between the
rear doors and the fascia panel bulkhead.
The rear of the seat is also fi tted with a protective
trim panel which when the seat is folded, provides
further support for the load being carried.
• "Jump" seat for more load height at the front
Similar to a jump seat, the seat cushion can be
raised to free up space in the front part of the cab.
This makes it possible to transport a tall load using
the space where the passenger would normally sit.
• Mobile offi ce
The rear of the centre seat can be folded fl at to
create a writing table which can also be used to
hold documents. The seat can also be raised to
provide access to a storage space which can be
secured by a padlock.
• Extra third seat
The Multi-Flex bench seat allows a third person
to legally sit in the central position. This seat is
equipped with a three point seat belt and benefi ts
also from the protection provided by the dual
passenger air bag.
All the functions of the Multi-Flex bench seat
enhance further the already superb modularity of
the new Partner. This innovative equipment will
appeal to a large number of professional users in
search of greater fl exibility.
Two sliding side loading doors for excellent accessibility
The new Partner from Peugeot benefits from the
meticulous attention paid to the design of even
the smallest detail, in order to make day to day use
easier. It is therefore extremely versatile and can
be accessed easily in all possible circumstances!
The shape of the doors has been designed in order
to make access simple and offers a high level of
ergonomics to its professional users, who need to
load and unload their vehicle regularly.
The new Partner can be equipped with one or two
sliding side doors. With an accessible width of
640 mm and an accessible height of 1100 mm,
these doors create a wide opening directly into the
load space. At the customer’s request, they can
be panelled or glazed, with the possibility in this
case of hinged opening windows.
At the rear, the asymmetric hinged rear doors can
accommodate a load with a maximum width of
1250 mm and a height of 1200 mm. The square
shaped loading space helps to facilitate loading
and unloading. Panelled or glazed, the hinged
doors can be opened out to an angle of either 90°
or 180°, making loading operations much easier.
A roof fl ap allows long objects to be transported
with the doors closed and is only available when
the hinged door confi guration is chosen.
Finally, a glazed rear tailgate with an opening rear
tailgate glass is also available to round off the
remarkable accessibility of the new Partner.
To supplement the 15 W rear load area interior
light, a handy portable light with an output of
5 W is located in the load space and is available
according to the particular model.
Lastly, the design of the profi le of the rear doors
allows the new Partner to benefi t from a load
sill height of only 584 mm. (609 mm for the 850 kg
payload version). Practical in every way and
under all circumstances, professional users will
appreciate the Partner’s easy access.
