A functional and comfortable cab
The interior suggests a high level of effi ciency,
comfort and durability ideal for a commercial
vehicle.
The fascia panel with its wide raised profi le is
very user-friendly and protective. The expansive
and well-structured centre console confi rms the
character of the interior styling. Two air vents
and two round openings shape the console
and enhance the air fl ow within the passenger
compartment. Two side air vents are also located
at the ends of the fascia panel complimenting the
centre vents.
The generously dimensioned instrument panel
and its easy to read dials add to the feeling of
wellbeing in the new Partner.
Thanks to the wide opening of the doors and
ergonomic passenger compartment controls, it’s
easy for the driver to find a comfortable driving
position. It is also made easier by the height and
depth adjustable steering wheel and a height
adjustable driver’s seat depending on the chosen
model. The specially designed seats, improve the
comfort of occupants by offering excellent lateral
support.
The driver will therefore quickly feel at home in the
vehicle. The gear lever is also in easy reach on the
fascia panel. The various console control buttons
are easy to use and distributed ergonomically.
Once inside, occupants will appreciate the
excellent exterior visibility thanks to the large
glazed surface area. The wide and inclined front
windscreen hugely contributes to this visibility,
as do the extensions to the front windows. The
side doors and rear doors can also be glazed if
required.
Practical and cleverly arranged storage areas
During the design of the vehicle, every available
space was put to use. As a result, the new Partner
has lots of storage compartments.
In the passenger compartment, several storage
areas have been incorporated in the fascia panel:
• a glove box in the upper section behind the
steering wheel,
• an open or closed glove box which can be
cooled, according to the particular model, on
the passenger side,
• side storage in the lower centre console on the
passenger side,
• an ISO storage unit with a non-slip mat according
to whether or not the CD auto-changer is fi tted,
• two storage pockets under the air vents in the
central part of the fascia panel,
• a removable ash tray.
Overhead storage above the driver’s head can
accommodate a variety of objects in a volume of
up to 12.5 litres, and also locates the sun visors
and the courtesy light. Openings placed at the
rear of the overhead storage make it possible to
see stored objects and retrieve them more easily.
Lower down, near the hand brake, there is a
wide storage space with two cup holders in the
rear section. This area can be equipped with an
optional closed, removable storage area which
provides an additional volume of 13 litres.
Both front doors also have two storage pockets,
one with a total volume of 7.5 litres, which can
accommodate a 1.5 litre bottle and a drinks can.
Two storage spaces each with a volume of
3.5 litres are located in the fl oor under the front
seats. These can be accessed from the rear. A
drawer under the driver’s seat with a volume of
5 litres is also available as an option.
In the load area, there is a storage pocket in the
rear doors.
All the available space has been used to provide
a large number of useful storage areas which are
very practical for day to day use.
