A practical, spacious interior
The fascia panel and the layout of the controls
create an interior styling which has a reassuring
toughness. It combines both good ergonomics
with a skilfully designed array of storage areas
within the passenger compartment.
The fascia panel, with its large, high central console,
adds to the feeling of safety and wellbeing evoked
by the whole vehicle. The car is very user-friendly
and the instrument panel dials are highly legible,
with each control within easy reach. The indicator
lights and buttons are carefully positioned on the
central console, like the gear lever which is also
located on the fascia panel.
The driving position is both practical and stylish,
thanks to the impression created by the six circular
openings (air vents and storage areas) located
around the console and at the ends of the fascia
panel. This rounded, modern touch, which differs
from the more classic style of the central console,
reaffi rms the stylish interior.
Different elements of the fascia panel (the
background of the instrument panel dials, the
fascia panel, air vent trims and interior door
opening handles) are also available in various
fi nishes, depending on the options chosen to
customise the interior look of the car.
The comfort of the occupants was also one of the
guiding priorities for the designers.
In the front, the seats are both comfortable and
provide a good level of side support. The driver’s
seat is height adjustable and depending on the
chosen trim options and, thanks to a steering
wheel which can be adjusted to the appropriate
height and depth, the optimal driving position is
easily obtained.
People come in all shapes and sizes and all can
be comfortable accommodated in the Partner
Tepee. Headroom at the front is 1.02m and the
elbow room is 1.48m.
For the three rear passengers, who sit 20 mm
higher than the occupants of the front seats,
headroom is 0.99m and elbow room is 1.49m.
The vehicle also boasts remarkable legroom, with
245 mm between the front seats and the knees of
the rear passengers.
Finally, the usable interior length, measured from
the accelerator pedal to the back of the rear seat,
is 1.72m.
The Partner Tepee is the same length as a family
hatchback car, but has a great deal more interior
space throughout the vehicle. This is combined,
however, with greater rear accessibility thanks to
the two sliding side doors.
Three separate rear seats for improved modularity
The Partner Tepee is fi tted as standard with a rear
bench seat that can be folded (two thirds – one
third), folded forwards against the front seats or
removed completely.
Being able to remove the entire rear bench seat
enables the vehicle to be adapted to many
different uses.
To increase, however, the modularity of the Partner
Tepee even further, a confi guration with three
individual rear seats is also available. Fitted with
a curved headrest and a reclining back, each seat
can be easily folded or removed.
A tray with two cup-holders is built into the back
of the centre seat which, once folded, can be used
as a table between the two outer seats. There are
also folding “airline” style trays attached to the
backs of the passenger and driver’s seats.
This innovative feature cannot be found anywhere
else in this MPV segment. It enables users to
change the interior space around according to
their requirements, thereby making the vehicle
suitable for all types of uses.
