Just to imagine what such a Superbike is. Let's look, for example, at the Ducati machine, which in this season rides the double world champion, Australian Troy Bayliss, who rides for the Ducati Xerox Team. It is the specification 999 F07, because this years limit is the volume up to 1000 ccm. From the 2008, the limit should be increased to 1200 ccm, so there is much to look forward to and the Ducati are already preparing the racing special 1098 F08. But back to the this years machine. Contrary to many four cylinder competitors, this is just a two cylinder one. It offers the power of 194HP at 12500 rpm and the maximum speed is 312 km/h. With the full tank of 23,9 litres of fuel, this machine weights about 190 kg and thus offers for each and every kilogram of its weight one horse power.
