Škoda Auto has officially announced, that the small SUV Yeti is going to be produced in the Czech Republic. May be it sounds strange for the first sight, because all Škoda cars are produced here. However, Škoda has many production factories also in foreign countries and in addition the Volkswagen concern has also free production facilities. The problem is the big demand for Octavia and so the start of the production of Yeti must be supported by the extension of the plant in Kvasiny, where the production is planned.
