The owner of Jaguar and Land Rover manufacturers is going to be Indian Tata
The speculations are confirmed and the sale of the two resonant brands to India becomes the reality.
The sale should be finished by the end of the first half of 2008. The current owner, which is automobile manufacturer Ford, will get from Tata about 2.3 billion USD. It seems, that the British automobile industry becomes the history. Already sooner for example Rolls-Royce was sold to German BMW, Bently to Volkswagen corporation, not long ago Rover to the Chinese, who restored the production under the Roewe brand. It is obvious, that the British don't want to produce cars, they just want to be carried.
