The author of the poll CVO (Corporate Vehicle Observatory) is the Arval company, which was founded in 1989 in France and is a dynamically expanding company focused on the operative leasing branch. In the year 2007 they managed more than 630000 cars in Europe and the strong financial background is provided by the mother company BNP Paribas, which is the biggest French bank.

Arval tries to satisfy demanding needs of customers, and that is why they every year take a poll of their requirements. In the year 2008 for the second time also the Czech Republic was included in the poll and there were total 10 countries involved. Although the poll is organized by a concrete company doing business in the branch, the results try to be independent.
