F1 - Canadian Grand Prix (Montréal)
The race in Canada is the only one on the North American continent in the year 2008. After the fiasco in the last year F1 is not run there any more, namely also because of the fact, that Formula 1 does not attract as much attention as other local motor competitions. Canada is to Formula 1 related much more, also the circuit itself is named after its racer, but the main reason is probably that it is located in the francophonic part Québec, which is directly based on a different culture. The Grand Prix takes part from Friday 6th till Sunday 8th June 2008, when the main race is run.
