Céline Dion in the Czech Republic - short stay in the east of Europe
Prague became one from the only two stops of this francophonic Canadian singer in the Eastern Europe during her almost one year lasting world tour Taking Chances, when she almost every second day has a concert on a different place. After Prague follows a concert in Polish city Krakow. To manage this travel rush not only numerous team helps her, but also modern technique takes place. She arrived in Prague and immediately after the concert left with her private airplane Bombardier BD-700 Global Express XRS, which is probably the dream of everyone who longs for the private airplane comfort with mobile connection to the world during the flight. She was carried through Prague in Mercedes-Benz S class limousines, which were cleared the way by a police Škoda Octavia of the first generation ahead with blue beacons. Although the visit was very quick, we managed to take exclusive photos and make a short video containing an interview with the singer and thus look into the world, where the stars live.
Céline Dion
The singer Céline Dion (40) originates from the frankophonic province of Canada called Québec. Her world fame began in the 1980 decade of the 20th century. Her popularity is given also by the fact, that she sings both English and French and she can use the qualities of both languages in an unparalleled way, which is emphasized also by her unique voice. The talent and abilities are not enough, of course, she has also a great team behind and cooperates with the best experts in the popular music. There is also the support of her family behind her star career, her mother in 1980, when Céline was 12 years old, let listen a cassette with the recording of her singing to a music producent named René Angélil. He was impressed by the potential of the young singer so much, that did not wait to take a mortgage on his house to be able to finance the start of her career and in november 1981 her first two albums appeared - Voix du bon Dieu and Céline chante Noël.
Her commercial career was so successful, that one can currently proclaim about her, that she is the most successful singer of all times in the known history of the mankind. She sings mainly about the very popular theme, which is love. The authors of the songs are changing, but the author of her very first song in 1980 called Ce n\'était qu\'un rêve (It was not more than a dream) was her mother. Well, she accompanies her now on the current world tour and likes to take photos of her current dream fulfillment. Also her producent was rewarded, the singer fell in love with him and in 1993, when the album The Colour of My Love was issued, containing the well known song The Power of Love, she officially revealed her relationship to the public. In December 1994 they became married, when the 26 years older René Angélil divorced before. The singing of Céline Dion belongs unforgettably to the last decade of the 20th century, when her career reached the top. From the start of 2000 she announced a pause in her career, because she wanted a child. Because of his birth and care for him she settled in Las Vegas, where she sang every evening and also did not stop issuing the albums. Her production of the first decade of the 21st century brings completely new directions and no one can worry, that this lady has still something to say. For her deserves in the spreading of the French culture she was also awarded with the highest French state award, the Decoration of the honour legion, which she has taken just during her current tour from the hands of the president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy.
Her current tour began in February 2008 in the South Africa, through Asia and Australia it has moved to Europe. From the half of September 2008 she moves to America, where she in her home Canada and then in the USA is going to sing until the end of January 2009. With its contents she wants to remeber herself to the world, but also to show her new production, which seems now not appreciated by the public, but the Céline Dion fans already sense, that it is the same revolution with which she no doubt came into the history of the mankind. The arrival of the singer was delayed against the originally announced time at 14:40 more than two hours. During her stay in Europe she stays in Berlin in Germany, where she from the Tempelhof airport flies to the concerts. The concert in Prague took place on 26th June 2008 from 20 o\'clock.

The waiting for Céline Dion was really long, also the limousines had to wait for more than an hour. Hopefully the continuously actualised arrivals panel showed the exact time, so we could catch a view of the magnificent Bombardier BD-700 with the precious passenger onboard.
